@Slave of the Immaculata - Yes, the "two forms" of the Roman rite is exactly where we can see Ratzinger's Hegelian thought on full display. It is very likely that he was hoping for a sort of merger between the two rites following the pattern of thesis-antithesis-synthesis. Very misguided.

Lol. The guy was a modernists. Just read his writings. JP II was a modernist. People are deceived by the facade.
I know two TLM priests personally who worship this man. I do not. He was a modernist and advisor at VII. He attended inter-religious prayer meetings. Had close relationships with his friends at Temple.
