Like St. John the Baptist, we need to "lay the axe to the root" of the so called "sexual revolution" and it's diabolic disorders manifest in our culture. Until the 20th Century the Church taught that Carnal Desire was an evil consequence of Original Sin. The modernists have flipped this doctrine on its head to say: Carnal Desire is a "beautiful gift from GOD" which we employ to express "love."
This lie is at the root of many current problems in the Church and our culture, ie: fornication, adultery, divorce, sodomy(inside and outside of legitimate marriage), contraception, self abuse, lack of priestly and religious vocations etc.
Our Blessed LORD and Our Lady (the New Adam and New Eve) were free from Carnal Desire(Our LORD by Nature, Our Lady by Grace), thus restoring the purity and innocence to mankind which Adam & Eve had forfeited.
