Leo XIV warns against those who “radicalize” Catholic teaching.
Pope Leo XIV spoke during a Eucharist in St. Peter’s Basilica marking the opening of the 2026–2027 academic year for Rome’s Pontifical Universities.
He said: “In every age, there is no shortage of false teachers who exploit the religious sentiments of many believers for their own interests, often pushing them to radicalize certain aspects of the teaching they have received at the expense of the whole — the whole, which is Christ and his Gospel.”
Leo XIV then invented a Church’s responsibility for both “to safeguard” the revelation but also “to develop, within diverse contexts, a prayerful understanding of it”.

The Pharisees pretty much accused Our Lord of being a radical as well. Following Our Lord's directive, faithful Catholics in the world will make enemies of the world. "Pachamama Prevost" would consider that statement to be an example of "radicalizing Catholic teaching."

Leo XIV appoints Cardinal Luis Tagle as new dean of the College of Cardinals.
Today, Pope Leo XIV has accepted the resignation of Cardinal Giovanni Battista Re, 92, as Dean of the College of Cardinals.
He approved the election of 🌈 Cardinal Luis Antonio Tagle as the new Dean of the College of Cardinals. Cardinal Tagle is Pro-Prefect of the Dicastery for Evangelization.
Nicknamed “Chito,” the sentimal prelate is known for singing and crying in public. He has wept during liturgies, promotions and talks.
In 2015, Tagle condemned the Church's use of “harsh language” toward homosexual, claiming it had contributed to their alleged isolation. In 2017, he participated in an Easter campaign promoting greater acceptance of marginalized people, including homosexuals.

Watch over your children. Always. Even when other kids are around.
I don’t care how polite, quiet, sweet, or well-behaved another child may seem. You do not know what that child has seen. You do not know what kind of language they hear every day, what situations have become normal in their home, or what emotional weight they may already be carrying on shoulders that are far too small for it.
Some children are exposed to things your child has never had to think about—and should never have to. Words they should not know yet.
Behaviors they should not be dealing with. Confusing or unhealthy ideas about what is acceptable.
And that is not necessarily the child’s fault. Children absorb the environments they grow up in. They learn from what they see, what they hear, what adults allow, and what they are forced to accept as normal.
But your child is still your responsibility, and your child deserves protection. Not every home teaches respect. Not every child understands personal boundaries. And …Engeta

US city council opens with ‘Hail Satan’ prayer (VIDEO)
The invocation triggered an uproar after a pastor accused the speaker of placing a “curse” on the Iowa community
Published 8 Oct, 2026 00:37 | Updated 8 Oct, 2026 05:43
An Iowa city council meeting erupted into controversy after opening with a Satanic invocation that ended with the words “Hail Satan,” prompting a local pastor to demand that officials “reverse this curse.”
Matt Dalbey, an Ottumwa resident and former city council member, delivered the invocation at Tuesday’s meeting under a policy allowing residents of different religions and belief systems to open council proceedings with a prayer or reflection.
Dalbey began by addressing a “dark father” and invoking what he called the “Luciferian impulse” before concluding: “It is done. Hail Satan.”

Cardinal Gerhard Ludwig Müller declared that the Marian title Co-Redemptrix expresses “a truth objectively contained in revelation”.
He said at the De Maria numquam satis conference in Rome on October 8 that the title is neither “a misleading attribution nor an enthusiastic exaggeration.”
“This title must not be silenced because of rejection by Protestants,” Cardinal Müller said, criticizing the Protestant understanding of justification for excluding man's free cooperation in redemption.
Cardinal Müller also rejected the objection that the title Co-Redemptrix appeared only in the late Middle Ages. “The fact that a truth of faith is contained in Revelation must not be confused with its conceptual formulation,” he said, comparing its development to the later theological formulation of Christological doctrines.
“Anyone who knows the rules of Catholic theology can find no reason for scandal in the analogical use of Christological and soteriological titles,” he added.

Australian Bishop Emeritus Christopher Saunders, 76, was sentenced on Wednesday to six years and six months in prison for sexually abusing two young Aboriginal men in Western Australia.
Saunders led the Diocese of Broome from 1996 until 2021. He was convicted in August of 12 counts of indecent assault and one count of sexual penetration. The offences occurred between 2008 and 2019. He was acquitted of six other charges and will be eligible for parole in February 2031.
Saunders stepped aside in 2020 following allegations of sexual misconduct and misuse of Church funds. An initial police investigation was closed in 2021 due to insufficient evidence.
During the trial, prosecutors alleged that Saunders used Church funds to provide young Aboriginal men with alcohol, cigarettes, cash and other benefits.
The Australian Catholic Bishops' Conference apologised to the victims following the sentencing, acknowledging the harm caused by the abuse and the betrayal of trust.

“It’s very clear to me that there was more unity in the Church when we were living under Summorum Pontificum than we are now under Traditionis Custodes.”
Archbishop Salvatore Cordileone of San Francisco made the remarks in an interview with TribuneChretienne.com on October 8.
He said that the radical liturgical changes following Vatican II had damaged, and in some cases even destroyed, Catholics’ faith.
Cordileone also pointed to a generational reversal: Young Catholics increasingly seek to recover tradition, while older generations remain attached to the changes introduced in their youth. What still feels new to the Vatican II generation, he observed, looks like a bygone era to young Catholics, who are searching for something timeless.

1. The Church has unity. Not "more or less" but the unity (of Faith and worship) as the basis/basic characteristics. If there is no such unity, well, you should search for the Church in another place.
2. If he said: It’s very clear to me that there was the greater fiction of unity between the Church and the neo-modernist Revolution when we were living under Summorum Pontificum than we are now under Traditionis Custodes, I would say: true indeed but he prefers to present the false description/diagnosis.
3. No Catholic is "under Traditionis Custodes" as that tyrannical document is null and void. Only "dumb dogs" prophesized by Isaias (Is 56) - sleeping and loving dreams - are under it.

St. Bridget of Sweden
(Also Birgitta)
The most celebrated saint of the Northern kingdoms, born about 1303; died 23 July, 1373.
She was the daughter of Birger Persson, governor and provincial judge (Lagman) of Uppland, and of Ingeborg Bengtsdotter. Her father was one of the wealthiest landholders of the country, and, like her mother, distinguished by deep piety. St. Ingrid, whose death had occurred about twenty years before Bridget's birth, was a near relative of the family. Birger's daughter received a careful religious training, and from her seventh year showed signs of extraordinary religious impressions and illuminations. To her education, and particularly to the influence of an aunt who took the place of Bridget's mother after the latter's death (c. 1315), she owed that unswerving strength of will which later distinguished her.
In 1316, at the age of thirteen, she was united in marriage to Ulf Gudmarsson, who was then eighteen. She acquired great influence over her noble and pious…Engeta

“The Creator is the source of human dignity, not the State.”
Cardinal Willem Jacobus Eijk of Utrecht, Netherlands, argued in an October 8 interview with LaNuovaBq.it that democratic majorities cannot determine fundamental human rights. Without recognition of God as Creator, the State assumes the power to decide who deserves legal protection and who does not, including unborn children. Eijk insisted that legislation must be grounded in natural moral law.
He also pointed to growing numbers of young Catholics in France, the Netherlands and England who embrace Church doctrine as a sign of hope.

BTW, the above usually leads to perhaps the greatest blasphemy of our times i.e. that a temporal life is sacred. Here the cult of Holy Martyrs of God ends and starts the one of idols and demons.

V.R.S.

Strange words. We can talk about our Creator in many different praises: as the Source of life, truth, love, beauty, our reasonable soul and its salvation. But human dignity or "human rights"? God is no suffragist or cheap politician. And He is no humanist either.
In his relationship, as the creature, towards God man does not need any human dignity/human rights and cannot claim one (as he is unworthy) unless he wants to claim "non serviam" - just as the ancient serpent.
And the State, just as the man, should also serve God which the post-conciliar revolution forgot about. It is the source of things forbidden to the State, killing children included. The God's direct commandment, God's direct order, yes also the natural law. Not any inalienable dignity or "human rights".
Hell is full of people who claimed them.

FSSPX to Continue Lourdes Pilgrimage Despite Bishop’s Restrictions
The Priestly Fraternity of Saint Pius X (SSPX) has announced that it will continue its annual pilgrimage to Lourdes.
Following the episcopal consecrations on July 1 in Ecône, Bishop Jean-Marc Micas of Tarbes and Lourdes withdrew permission for the SSPX to celebrate public Masses, administer sacraments, or organize public prayers at Lourdes.
In an August 22 statement, Fr. Gonzague Peignot, superior of the FSSPX in France, announced that the Fraternity intends to continue coming to Lourdes every year, “Our Lady does not deserve to be abandoned despite the obstacles,” he said.
The FSSPX expressed 'sorrow and incomprehension', questioning the bishop's decision and pointing to the interreligious Christian-Muslim pilgrimage that was welcomed at the sanctuary in October 2025.
For now, the FSSPX faithful intend to remain present at Lourdes, but their pilgrimage will no longer be able to take the same public form as in previous …Engeta
