I remember being a child and wondering why the priest faced away from us. I concluded because he was leading us in turning ourselves toward God in the tabernacle. Then, suddenly to me, he began to face us. I thought, "Won't it be a terrible temptation to the priest to become an entertainer?" This, along with so many other examples have proved that pre-teen insight to be correct. Even if a priest starts out sincere and reverent, human nature will make all into entertainers.
