I know many Ukr soldiers ran away. Some were caught running to Russia. Ukr TV station was mocking them thinking it was Russian soldiers running away. Until they found out it was their own men. And they destroyed the video.
I also watched many others who called Russian soldiers in the field on a radio frequency to a special number for them to give themselves up. And they were many who did over a years time or more. And I can't forget that lone young Japanese who joined the Russian army. Insisting he is fighting on the right side. Became Orthodox so he can join them in Heaven.
