German Bishops Elect Militant Pro-Homosexual as New President
Bishop Heiner Wilmer, 64, of Hildesheim, Germany, was elected president of the German Bishops’ Conference today.
He joined the religious order of the Sacred Heart of Jesus (Dehonians) at the age of 19. Pope Francis appointed him as Bishop of Hildesheim in 2018.

In an October 2021 homily, he called for "a fresh perspective on sexuality".
In 2022, he supported OutInChurch, a movement composed of homosexual Church employees.
Following the Vatican's rejection of the blessing of same-sex unions, Monsignor Wilmer released a press statement (25 January 2022): "We must continue to discuss the blessing of same-sex couples and should not treat it as a taboo. The point is to acknowledge the lived realities of same-sex partnerships today."

@brhenry Tradition demands that all of Germany be placed under the bane of Papal Interdict too, and that Jim Martin, SJ be laicized. I don’t see Sarah or Müller publishing a screed about that.
@SonoftheChurch I agree. Modernists and Traditionalists are both rebellious. That is why in the past the saintly Bishop Bruskowitz of Lincoln Nebraska excommincated "Catholics for Choice" in the very same decree he excommunicated the SSPX. Schism and heresy on the Left and the Right.
They are illicit. They have no mission in the church nor have they any authority to teach by virtue of their public display of heresy. That they have not been excommunicated is a dereliction of duty not green card for anyone to consider them legitimate.
Yes, but we have 13 years history of tacit (and less tacit) approval of their heresy from those who wear papal robes. So both Vatican and Germany function like one church, church without Catholic teaching
How can Burke, Mueller and Sarah be part of this Synodal Church? Are Vatican privileges more important than Catholic Church and loyalty to Christ?
