Realistically, does anyone expect the petition to succeed? Recent comments on Gtv suggest only a minority of Bishops are willing to stick their necks out in support of Bishop Strickland.
I'm reminded of a question put to John Paul II in the 1980's requesting him to renew the Church, he replied "I can't until the Virgin comes again". Little chance of any improvement with the present incumbent in the hot seat. Expect Divine Intervention (terrifying) and soon -- be prepared.
