The Italian Jesuit Father Felice Scalia presented to Francis on February 10 the painting of a girl walking over water where people and corpses swim.
The painting produced by Giuseppe Martino (Messina, Sicily) is called Madonna di Porto Negato (Mary of the Closed Port). Its intention is to promote illegal mass-immigration.
Martino disclosed that he “cried” while painting the dying in the sea waves, thus mixing his tears with the paint. He identified the secularised woman on his picture as “Mary.”
The baby held by “Mary” is Alan Kurdi, the three-year-old Syrian boy whose body washed up on the Turkish shore in 2015. According to Martino, the dead body in the foreground “crucified at sea.”
That people die in the Mediterranean Sea started since NATO attacked Libya toppling the Ghaddafi government who until then had prevented human traffickers from sending people into death.

We must ask ourselves why so much of what is fobbed off as 'religious' or 'inspirational' art is kitsch. This picture, to my eyes, diminishes the very real tragedies it attempts to highlight. As flawed as many classical artists of the past were in their lives, they were able to convey in their art a spiritual depth the likes of which our current society is totally ignorant.

Mathathias Maccabeus false mercy is not only "explicite" desire (synonym) of saved soul in state of grave(mortal) sin, its context is much broader. However also "implicite" from falsifying works of mercy, through inverted hierarchy of Caritatis Ordo, Holy Communion for bigamists, to reversal of representations of good and evil which the depiction seems to make of Pieta, Judas in the place of Christ …More

However also "implicite" from falsifying works of mercy, through inverted hierarchy of Caritatis Ordo, Holy Communion for bigamists, to reversal of representations of good and evil which the depiction seems to make of Pieta, Judas in the place of Christ at Mt. Golgota. Not the first blasphemous art. Unfortunately, all these errors correlate and amount to a false understanding of true mercy being clearly present in the "magisterium" of the antipapacy to pope Benedict XVI and Catholic Church.

Mathathias Maccabeus just looking at Pieta some wouldn't either know that was at Mt Golgota because the mountain is invisible in the sculpture. From my knowledge Cardinal Bergoglio was influenced by Cardinal Kasper's moral teaching containing false concepts of mercy, which he admitted to read and accept, of course in the meliorative sense. This is why Catholics analyze the art in the wider context …More

You're not sede as such or because you don't recognize pope Benedict XVI?

Mathathias Maccabeus may be you were implying sede to me. Anyways there is no dispute to Cardinal Ratzinger's canonical election therefore whoever prays for this living man who is addressed as pope, also by Vatican and "pope Francis", is surely not a sede.
Stupid as it is ugly, deceitful and amateurish.
