Another instalment in our series on "High Church Modernism", exposing the serious errors being spread by so-called traditionalist commentators. "When Peter Kwasniewski defined that all pre-Vatican II magisterium was “up for grabs” (see High Church Modernism part II) he opened up a process that leads to the loss of faith. He points people in heterodox and occultist directions, sometimes saying he doesn’t embrace every single false notion (without specifying which)." High Church Modernism and the loss of Faith - …
Vinicius provides another fascinating analysis of some disturbing errors which are being promulgated by ‘traditionalist’ commentators. His previous articles on High Church Modernism can be found here, here and here. When Peter Kwasniewski defined that all pre-Vatican II magisterium was “up for grabs” (see High Church Modernism part II) he opened up a process that leads to the loss of faith. He points people in heterodox and occultist directions, sometimes saying he doesn’t embrace every single false notion (without specifying which). Christ Rescuing Peter from Drowning. Lorenzo Veneziano, 1370SOURCE At first sight, this looks furtive. But it may be beyond Kwasniewski’s ability to clearly state what he believes the Church should be, because he can’t “know” it due to the conciliarist nature of his ideology: both past and future Church teaching can vary because “beliefs” are merely “liturgical acclamations” expressing the unity of the assembled Christian community (as in Tim …
A newly released Armenian-language statement from the Armenian Apostolic Church says that Pope Leo XIV and Catholicos Aram I addressed the idea of convening a “Third Vatican Council” during a private meeting at the Vatican on May 18. The Vatican’s summary of the meeting did not mention the topic. The Armenian Patriarchate said the two discussed “the establishment of a common date for Easter, a day of commemoration for all martyrs, and the convening of a Third Vatican Council.” According to the Armenian statement, Aram I emphasized the “urgent necessity” of these initiatives for the life of “the universal Christian Church.” The statement added that Leo XIV expressed “understanding and support” regarding the issues raised. #newsXvhelmczqf
I'm looking forward to the continuation of the First Vatican Council. The Second and Third, and all subsequent councils of the conciliar church, are garbage.
Scary stuff! I'm thankful for her deliverance. God is all powerful and anyone needing help in this kind of situation can reach out through prayer! Don't give up! God bless you!
These masonic prelates knew exactly what they were doing in their attempt to destroy the Church by destroying the Mass. They have been largely successful but God always will leave at least a remnant that is faithful. One day, God will bring about a complete restoration of His Church. Let us thank God if we are part of the faithful few.
"Love it or hate it**, ‘prepping’ is becoming a way of life for many Catholics and with World War III brewing – or, some may say, already begun – our thoughts naturally turn to things both eschatological and practical. Damian Keller leads this article with a short reminder of our spiritual obligations and focus at this time. "Below that, you will find links to some helpful videos concerning practical considerations. These are not created by Catholics and are merely representational – there is a vast amount of information available for those who want to dive deeper into how and why we should make physical preparations. "(**If you are not convinced that prepping is compatible with relying on Divine Providence, then you may like to watch this documentary about the Siege of Sarajevo – a modern day case study in the realities of war and suffering. It reveals that in times of great hardship, people are grateful for the least bit of comfort; we can ensure even a little of this for our …More
I can confirm that story about Sarajevo firsthand. I can also say that during those years, God blessed us with an abundance of food from nature. The soil was very fertile—potatoes grew better than ever (almost twentyfold), and other vegetables were just as plentiful. The same was true for fruits like apples, pears, plums, and others, which we used to make delicious jams and get plenty of vitamins from.
"Kwasniewski’s program for a new Church constitution (after years of heavy hints) has finally seen the light of day as a Manifesto translated from German and heavily inspired by Georg Hegel. This turgid text might only be closely examined by those sympathetic or scandalised enough to be bothered (it’s a pity Luther is not around – he could have helped with the prose), but it leaves one thing clear: Kwasniewski is no traditional Catholic....It is also for the reader to fathom how Kwasniewski’s declaration of neutrality1 concerning the SSPX consecrations can be reconciled with his total support for a Manifesto centred on condemning these consecrations and ridiculing their justification." The high church modernist Synodal Way to …
Vinicius returns to the theme of High Church Modernism (see previous articles here and here) – that incoherent ideology found among many influential ‘traditionalist’ commentators but which is in fact a blend of occult mysticism, Vatican II ecclesiology and the rejection of the decrees of the dogmatic First Vatican Council. by Vinicius For Gallican “reformers” the Catholic Church has been all wrong for most of the last thousand years. Their unoriginal solution (in view of Lutheranism, Gallicanism, Anglicanism etc) is to go back to the “early Church”. Writers like Peter Kwasniewski, Sebastian Morello, and Tim Flanders can’t be sure exactly what period has to be dusted off or what this means; the only dogma seems to be anti-papalism and open-ended radical change to the constitution and even doctrine of the Church. Traditional rite Catholics who endorse the unorthodox novelties and equivocations in Vatican II texts have been thrown completely off-balance by the Society of Saint Pius …
The recent death of Paul Ehrlich (1932–2026), that master of anti-natalist propaganda, should cause us to consider the far-reaching consequences of his doctrine. As the author of The Population Bomb, (Note: all page references given below refer to this work) written in 1968, Ehrlich helped shape the disastrous demographic policies which many countries around the world are currently scrambling to reverse. by Kathy Clubb Among his predictions was the frightening spectre of overpopulation and world-wide famine to be experienced in the 1970s. By tying food availability to increasing population, Ehrlich successfully sowed enough fear into the academics of his day to ensure that his message would be taken up and disseminated into the unsuspecting community at large. Contraception Central to Ehrlich’s policies for population control was contraception; this was to be subsidised by the government and especially was to be made available to the poor. He lauded the U.S. government’s multi-million …
He even suggested that some form of sterilisation agent could be added to the water or food supply, writing that “doses of the antidote would be carefully rationed by the government to produce the desired population size” (p. 131).
'The nuncio was reminded of what had happened to the papacy during the Avignon “captivity”.' What is that supposed to mean? Is Trump going to kidnap the pope like he did the Venezuelan president?
A perfect meditation for Holy Week, especially when so many of us are tempted to comment on every crisis, every issue. For that was not Our Lady's approach: The Virtue of Silence - Pax Orbis
The beautiful meditation is from Divine Intimacy1 explains some aspects of Our Lady’s role as Co-Redemptrix, particularly Her silence and humility, as well as Her deep love for souls. These virtues provide a blueprint for those consecrated to Our Lady and are a poignant theme for contemplation during Holy Week. The meditation also expresses a fundamental principle of apostolic work, particularly of pro-life work: the prioritising of prayer over activity. Presence of God O Mary, Queen of Apostles, obtain for me the heart of an Apostle. Meditation 1. Mary is, at the same time, the model of both contemplative and apostolic souls. Furthermore, by combining in herself the highest contemplative life with the highest apostolic life, she teaches us that contemplation and the apostolate, far from being opposed to other, complement, support, and maintain each other. When the contemplative life – considered as an assiduous seeking after union with God-is really fervent, it cannot fail to enkindle …
Ten days ago, LifeSiteNews broke a story about then-Father Robert Prevost taking part in a Pachamama ritual in 1995. There seems little doubt that this unfortunate event did, in fact, take place and so, in honour of the occasion and in remembrance of the late Pope Francis, I offer the following article from 2019. It describes the culture of the indigenous Amazon tribes who worshipped, among a bloodthirsty pantheon, the goddess Pachamama. For all the gods of the Gentiles are devils – Psalm 95:5 The real ‘face of the Amazon’: a culture of …

For all the gods of the Gentiles are devils – Psalm 95:5 Infanticide and suicide have traditionally been part of the culture in many parts of the Amazon region. So why does the working document for October’s Pan-Amazon Synod suggest that the Catholic Church ‘puts on an Amazon face’? by Kathy Clubb The synod will focus on a group of countries that surround Latin America’s Amazon Basin; that is Bolivia, Brazil, Colombia, Ecuador, French Guyana, Guyana, Perú, Venezuela and Surinam. When announcing the synod, Pope Francis called on the Church to “find …
Last week’s death of a young Spanish woman by euthanasia shocked the world. Although her father fought for eighteen months to have to procedure stopped, he was overruled by the Spanish courts. At the eleventh hour, Noelia’s best friend – someone who may have been able to talk Noelia out of going ahead with her death – was denied access. When there was question of yet another legal intervention, authorities stated that was not possible: Noelia’s organs had been targeted for harvesting, earning millions for their sale. This case speaks to a cascade of tragedies which ended in a young woman being failed at every turn, and paying the ultimate price to a society which unashamedly exploits the vulnerable. Noelia Castillo Ramos was a 25-year-old woman from Barcelona, Spain, who will end her life through euthanasia on 26 March, after a long legal battle. Her controversial case has attracted widespread media attention in Spain. Noelia Castillo Ramos shortly before her death The last few …
With so much going on, many of us feel like hunkering down and trying to shut out the world. Yet Vinicius reminds us that there is always work for us to do, in order to bring about the Social Reign of Christ. Viva Christo Rey! A well written piece. It explains a lot. The communism was never alone, indeed. Dragon has two wingss as usual. I've heard before that in a certain time there were a bunch of people who wished to be a rulers of the world, who sat in one room somewhere in London making a plan how to establish those very tools, the two wings of Dragon, making them working together but seemingly against each other. ..
In this extract from the book, ‘Unholy Craft’ by Arnaud de Lassus, the author relates the method used by an infiltrator to convince a Catholic priest to become involved with Freemasonry. In Italy, in 1999, a book was published anonymously entitled Via col vento in Vaticano and, according to the editor the French version, “would have come from a group of high-ranking Vatican dignitaries who chose to break the law of silence.” It is a collective work describing various disorders affecting the Holy See. The chapters are not all of equal value and some call for serious reservations. Chapter 18, The Smoke of Satan in the Vatican, deals with Freemasonry and, in four very interesting pages, explains the process used to entice prelates to affiliate to the craft. There is a real novitiate for recruiting ecclesiastics to the Masonic order. Among ecclesiastics, there is a certain category of men in which Masonry seeks possible collaborators; these must combine certain gifts: keen intelligence …
