Lord, thank you for your beauty in every person.
Mark 3:7-12
“Jesus withdrew (from the crowd) toward the sea with his disciples. A large number of people [followed] from Galilee and from Judea.”

1 Samuel 15:16-23
“Because you have rejected the word of the Lord, the Lord in turn has rejected you as king!”

1 Samuel 3: 1-10.19-20
“Here I am. You called me.”
Just as Samuel asked Eli if he had been called, we often ask people for information about faith.
Eli turned Samuel toward the Lord and told him to say to the Lord, “Speak, Lord, for your servant is listening.”
Moving from knowledge to understanding—that is what it means; it also means knowing how to listen to the Lord.
Mark 1:29-39
“Simon’s mother-in-law lay sick with a fever.”
Bodily fever occurs occasionally. There is also the fever that can manifest itself in the tensions between people. We can ask Jesus for liberation from the fever of body and of tensions and pressure, whether we inflict it upon ourselves or others inflict it upon us.
Let’s think about this in feverary
